Congress - The Engine that Can't!

What do we want – and deserve?

Nothing more than a Congress that makes wise use of its powers – facing problems squarely and implementing timely solutions. We want a Congress that earns an approval rating of 75%, not 12%.

Can we get it?

Sure – This Is America!
We must change the culture of Congress – to a culture of problem solving. One in which congresspersons are motivated to make differences for our country while they are in office.

The proposed 28th Amendment to the Constitution will set the term for the House of Representatives at four years, set twelve-year term limits for both the House and the Senate, eliminate many “safe seats” with multi-member districts, greatly reduce campaign spending, reduce congressional perquisites, and prohibit congresspersons from accepting payments from lobbyists and from lobbying after serving.

The movement to adopt this amendment is absolutely nonpartisan!
